“The hunger” or “Gnawing Hunger” is a psychological horror novel that I have been working on for a while. This horrifying tale follows Shane and his wife Natasha as they finally follow their dream of visiting Peru, the moment they start their journey dreams begin to plague Shane more and more as a hunger begins that cannot be quenched. As they explore ancient forgotten ruins and local bookstores, they begin to unravel a mystery of the strange town that goes back thousands of years. Shane seeks to find what is tormenting him, but the question remains, Is it all in his head?
